Welcome to the 2018 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Faculty of Dentistry!
The Annual Scientific Meeting provides a forum for students and staff to showcase their recent works. It is a great opportunity to strengthen our community, stimulate critical thinking, foster innovation, and reach out to everyone who is passionate about our vision of advancing oral health and well-being in Hong Kong, China, and the world. We strive towards that vision by serving mankind, making scientific discoveries, innovating to create solutions, leading the profession, and educating those who serve, i.e., in short SMILE.
This year, we have Professor Wang Yan from the Sun Yat-sen University and Dr. Daniel Lee, a dental practitioner as well as distinguished researcher in Artificial Intelligence, joining the Meeting and delivering keynote lectures. I hope that you and our guests take advantage of the opportunity to make new friends, exchange ideas, and discuss potential collaborations to further our vision.
